The fine-grained chromium ore with reasonable fineness after grinding has different settling speed in liquid due to the different specific gravity of solid particles, and the spiral classifier is used for beneficiation and classification. After the material is washed by jig machine and vibrating screen,
it is transported to the spiral chute to separate fine mineral powder. The sieved ore powder is sent to the magnetic separator. The concentrated ore entering the magnetic separation is dehydrated by the thickener, and then sent to the dryer for drying to obtain usable dry concentrate or secondary grinding to extract minerals.
Chrome Ore Concentrator
The beneficiation methods of chromite mainly include gravity separation and magnetic separation.
Massive chrome ore is crushed, washed, and desilted to obtain massive chrome concentrate. The fine particles are finely ground by the grinding equipment to free the chromium from the gangue. Chromite concentrate can be obtained by grading, spiral chute or shaker gravity separation. Magnetic separation after gravity separation can further increase the grade of chromium concentrate and the ratio of ferrochrome.
